During Mid-March 2019, students from Year 9 onwards formed teams and picked their captain to lead them during the 2nd annual Breakbusters, 3V3 Basketball tournament. They played during the break time for a cup that would officiate them as the best team in the senior section. Despite injuries and facing losses, students persevered, taking home medals and most importantly developing their sportsmanship.

Every day, participating students changed from their formal uniforms into suitable attire for the game and rushed themselves to the basketball court where students were informed of their opposing team for the day. Not only did the contestants enjoy playing the games but students who were there to support their friends were standing on the sidelines cheering for them. |
The teams were given around five games to play and the games went on for almost two weeks, every day, during recess. The winning trophy was given to the following Year 11 team by the Head of School, Mr Frank Scarcelli;

Mr Surjeet Sandhu, the head of the Physical Education Department, had hosted the games along with the hardworking sports department. The event was extremely successful and even teachers stopped by to watch the intense games.
The matches opened up students of the senior year to their competitive attitudes and students worked hard to create game plans before their respective matches. |
